What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a website places on your device so it can remember something between visits. Some cookies are deleted when you close the browser, others stay for a set period. We use cookies on the Cognitiveaxiscorp website and inside the candidate portal.
Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies make the site work and cannot be switched off through our banner. They handle login sessions, security checks and load balancing.
- session_id — keeps you logged in during a visit. Expires when you close the browser.
- csrf_token — protects forms against cross-site request forgery. Expires after 2 hours.
- cookie_choice — stores your cookie decision. Lasts 12 months.
Analytics cookies
Analytics cookies tell us which pages get used and where people get stuck. We only set them if you accept them. The data is aggregated and we do not use it to identify you.
- _ga — distinguishes visitors. Lasts 24 months.
- _ga_session — tracks a single visit. Lasts 30 minutes.
Functional and marketing cookies
Functional cookies remember choices such as your preferred language or the dashboard layout you last used. They last up to 6 months.
We do not run third-party advertising cookies on this site. If that ever changes, we will ask for your consent first and update this page before the change goes live.
Managing your cookies
You can accept or decline non-essential cookies through the banner on our home page. Your choice is saved and applied on future visits. To change it, clear the cookie_choice cookie in your browser settings and reload the site.
Every major browser also lets you block or delete cookies entirely. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop the login and the assessment portal from working properly.
Questions
If you want to know which cookies were set during your visit, email cognitiveaxiscorp@gmail.com and we will give you a list. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information more broadly.
