Acceptance of these terms
These terms govern your access to the Cognitiveaxiscorp platform and any screening, assessment or consulting service we provide. By creating an account, sending us candidates, or using the platform, you agree to them. If you accept on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to do so.
Your account and responsibilities
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for everything done through your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has access.
- Give accurate information when you register and keep it current.
- Do not share seat access with people outside your organisation.
- Only send candidate data you have a lawful basis to process.
- Do not use the platform to make decisions that breach employment or anti-discrimination law.
You agree to tell candidates that an AI tool is being used to screen or assess them, and to give them any notice the law requires.
Service scope and availability
We describe our services on the pricing and service pages. We aim for 99.5% monthly availability but we do not promise uninterrupted service. We may schedule maintenance, usually outside New Zealand business hours, and we will give reasonable notice for planned outages.
Assessment outputs are decision support, not a final verdict. You remain responsible for your hiring decisions.
Fees and payment
Subscription fees are billed monthly in New Zealand dollars unless your order says otherwise. Invoices are due within 14 days. Prices may change with 30 days' notice, and changes apply from your next billing cycle.
We may suspend access if an invoice is more than 30 days overdue. Late payments may attract interest at 2% per month, where the law allows it.
Intellectual property
We own the platform, the scoring models, the question libraries and all related documentation. You own your candidate data, your job descriptions and any content you upload. You grant us a licence to process your content only to deliver the service.
Do not copy, reverse engineer or resell the platform without our written consent.
Liability and governing law
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits.
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986 where those acts apply.
These terms are governed by New Zealand law, and the courts of New Zealand have jurisdiction. Company registration number 6231497, GST number 148-627-935.
